I still remember when I watched Indiana Jones with my parents, his adventures in exotic places around the world made me want to discover new places.
My favorite Indiana Jones’ movie is Raiders of the Lost Ark, which was directed by Steven Spielberg and starred Harrison Ford. In this story, Indiana goes up against a group of Nazis who are searching for the Ark of the Covenant because Adolf Hitler believes it will make him invincible.
Indiana Jones inspired me to visit places like Putumayo & Leticia, Colombia, and several cities in Europe, and, to be honest. I still dream of visiting India. I remember when I was wearing my backpack and boots on my way to Buenaventura, Colombia; I felt like Indiana Jones on my way to a new adventure.
My outfit in the Amazon in Colombia
Sometimes the idea of being Indiana Jones comes to me, for example, when I was in the Amazon jungle in Peru. Then, when I was in Berlin, I felt like him again. Sometimes Indiana Jones is my inspiration when I pick my outfits for my trips, like when I visited the Pacific Coast of Colombia in 2014.
Indiana Jones at the Hollywood Bowl
When I heard about Raiders of the Lost Ark at the Hollywood Bowl, I knew I had to go. One of my favorites movies with a live orchestra in one of my favorites places in Los Angeles; I knew it was meant to be!
The Raiders of the Los Ark will be in concert Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5 at 8:00 PM. You can purchase your tickets at http://bit.ly/raidersark
